Dr. Lawrence A. Zolnik MD.

Dr. Zolnik has been in practice with Fishkill Obstetrics and Gynecology PC since 1983. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Association, New York State Medical Association and the Dutchess County Medical Society.

Dr. Zolnik earned his Doctor of Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in 1979. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in 1983.

He entered private practice with the Fishkill Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1983 and has been an attending Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center since then.

Dr. Zolnik earned his board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1985 He was admitted to fellowship by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2001.

Dr. Zolnik has had a very active and a remarkable career in healthcare in the Dutchess County, New York, in addition to his patient care responsibilities. He has served in numerous committees at the Vassar Brother’s Medical Center. He served as Co-Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in from February 1998 to February 2005.

Additionally he serves as DRA Consultant to Empire State Medical, Scientific and Educational Foundation, Inc., and as Medical Reviewer for the Hospital Association of New York State (HANYS), and also as member of the Board of Directors of the Taconic Independent Practice Association (TIPA).

Dr. Zolnik was elected Physician of the Year at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in 1996.

He lives in Pleasant Valley, New York.
