Dr. Jed L. Turk MD

Dr. Turk has been in practice in the Dutchess County since 1993.

He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Association, the New York State Medical Association and the Dutchess County Medical Society.

Dr. Turk graduated from State University of New York in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, and as Doctor of Medicine, with distinction in research, from the State University of New York in 1989. While in college he served as Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry and Introduction to Biology. In Medical School he participated in a published research project in biochemistry.

He did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Maimonides Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY (1989-1993).

Dr. Turk was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995 and was admitted to Fellowship of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 1995.

Dr. Turk started private practice with the Dutchess County Ob-Gyn Associates PC and as an Attending Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in 1993. He joined the Fishkill Obstetrics and Gynecology PC in 2000.

He lives in Poughkeepsie with his wife Stella, an Audiologist, and their three daughters. They spend their free time camping, canoeing and cycling.
